Tanniesha Franklin is a Certified Sign Language Instructor, who fell in love with sign language through an interaction with a Deaf individual.

Since then, for 5+ years Tanniesha has studied American Sign Language, and the culture behind it. Her goal is to not only teach the language, but to also bring awareness to the Deaf community.In her lessons she focuses on basic American Sign Language (ASL) vocabulary, using Sign Exact English (S.E.E.) method and also adaptive sign language. Tanniesha is an enthusiastic teacher, using fun-filled lessons & engaging activities for infants, toddlers, pre schoolers and also adults.Butterfly Hands was created to be easy and accessible for home and educational environments for your little ones.

Butterfly hands teaches sign language to parents with babies as young as 6 months, nonverbal children, and to anyone who wants to learn basic sign language in a fun engaging learning environment. Learning Sign Language at a young age will help reduce frustration, and encourage the acquisition of verbal communication amongst other great benefits!
